mid-19th century charm
with countryside adventures
The main Lincoln Way house was built in 1912 at the gateway of the Rock River valley, five state parks and the 4,000-acre Nachusa Grasslands preserve. Historic architecture and breathtaking countryside décor accent our eco-friendly inn.
In the Lincoln Way community, guests enjoy an immersive countryside experience while biking, hiking, birding, beekeeping, cross-country skiing, golfing, snowmobiling, antiquing, dining, visiting wineries, enjoying live music, exploring history and more.
Nestled in the prairie, we have six guest rooms, including three suites, all locally themed and individually decorated with a blend of modern and vintage pieces. The first floor of the Inn features the adjoining dining room and porch, ideal for events, gatherings and meetings. Our outdoor patio is a peaceful agritourism oasis surrounded by native prairie gardens.
We also offer a separate house just down the Inn patio walk. Completed in 2015, the Carriage House is an intimate setting perfect for smaller events and company meetings or retreats.
Inside or outside, winter or summer, you’ll unplug and reboot on a countryside adventure as our guests at Lincoln Way: A Destination Inn!
